Today we are starting the "Growing and Flowing" unit about plant life. We are trying something very new this unit for our assessments called a Tic Tac Toe board. Your child should have brought this home and went over it with you on Friday. Please make sure this is signed and returned ASAP, as the first due date is coming up at the end of next week! Check below for the resources we are using in class this week. Again, thank you for being so patient with the last unit and the limited resources. I know it is frustrating to not have the textbooks at home, but we made it! For this unit, we will be taking a lot more notes and using articles to get our information, so make sure to check here at least weekly to see what we're doing and to make sure your child has what they are supposed to have in their notebooks. We will need volunteers this Friday (you can come all day or just for a class period) to help with flower dissections! If you are already registered with Wake County as a volunteer (call our office to check) and would like to help, please send me an e-mail!
