Just a quick friendly reminder that we are taking our Q3 Benchmark tomorrow. It will be covering the Layers of the Earth, Soil, and Space. Students were given a study guide on Monday and have been given the entire period over the past few days to complete it. The study guide is serving as our unit test for the information that is covered in the benchmark. It will be graded as a MAJOR (so it is essentially an open-book, open-note test) that is due TOMORROW. Most students have gotten the study guide finished during the two days that they have worked on it, and have had the opportunity to ask for help with answers that they were unsure of during our class discussion. If they are not finished with the assignment by the end of class today, they will need to finish it at home or it will negatively impact their grade. Please check you child's agenda to see if they have completed the study guide and review the material with them tonight. I have a good feeling about tomorrow's benchmark--from what I have seen we are prepared despite the shortened time last quarter! :)
